its a really good tool "almost" compareable with PS
(like blender with 3DsMAX)
-got everything u need but its alsow more complex
than u used to work ... but its worth to get into it

The one I'm using now came with my computer, it's called "photo impression 4" it's ok but it doesn't really offer much, I'll take a look at those sites you posted, thanks.

tbh the diference between PS 6.0 and CS1 isnt that big ... but CS3 is really worth the money it got some great new features! i already thinking about get the whole CS3 package for myself 8D ... but if u dont want to spend to much on it maybe take a look at this tool : http://www.gimp.org/ ... its free and makes a great job as far as i heard! maybe take alsow a look at the wikipedia page http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/GIMP to get some tutorials.

Thanks again ash, damn I looked up the CS2, around here they want between 3 and 400 bucks for that photoshop software, and they have the CS3 out but it's twice as much, I want to find something better then what I have, and that works really well but not quite as much in price, so the search goes on, cya dude!

hello Bob! damn, thank ya alot thats very nice !! uve done a pretty good job yourself though! i love the gorilla and the astronaut is very nice as well!
u onley have to focus on shadows a lidle more, the shading is a very importand part!
like, i used for the elvis image the shading from the original image to relight parts of the spudface.
but there alsow several ways to fake it.
i saw some tutorials about it but cant find them right now.
ill check back for them if youre interested! but the internet is full of them anyway ...
i work with PS-CS right now i got it pretty cheap when CS2 came out.
i usuali use it to generate textures so this retouching thing is a welcome alternation for me :)
