Hey Zakiyyah--I actually agree with you that this ep was a little slow, at least the pointlessness between Ashley and Mike. I also agree that this cast could have been more diverse. But the Jersey Shore has even less diversity with the entire cast coming from very similar backgrounds, some from the same fracking neighborhood. So JS is more about showing a particular group to a diverse audience, which can be good. But it also shows that diversity doesn't necessarily drive ratings.... more

Olivia is on The City because she is an interesting character to watch and she's at Elle because The City brings them publicity. As for working with her in a real life situation, there's no way! Erin takes her job seriously whereas Olivia is one of those people who just is not manageable because she refuses to take direction. Johnny and Kenny remain legends only in their own minds. Everything out of their mouths is why they are so great and everyone else sucks, but nobody's buying it. Too many episodes of that. Personally I found Casey somewhat funny, at least she wasn't so intense. Sarah is great imo, tho why did she not tell Kenny off sooner! He couldn't even find his big boy words to respond rationally. Strategy To Survive

Sure, it's understandable why Evan didn't want to go into the ruins, risk a bunch of $ for just a little more, blah blah blah. The point is by not going in he wasn't willing to put in that effort and risk to win--instead just used his alliance to skate to the final with ppl who deserved it more than him. Even Darrell deserved it more than him, definitely Cohutta who Evan had a part in putting in the ruins multiple times. Then when he wins the final, you're like, "meh." So yeah, he should take some heat.... more

This was a good one since the outcome wasn’t so predictable. I wish MTV would change things up so one alliance can’t just sit around dictating the 1-on-1’s to the end (predictable and boring). I can see Wes's point. He had a right to let the aholes on his team (really they all are except for Syrus) that they couldn't single him out every time and expect him to just do their bidding. Asking for a blind draw out of a hat was a reasonable compromise. That whole kenny/evan/johnny triad is getting tiresome to watch I wish they would take a break from the challenges or grow up. Fairy-Tale Challenge

These little girls need to grow up and show some grace. What about appreciating the time lounging around and partying in the south Pacific? Most ppl don't get to do that. They didn't win the challenge because at some point each of them lost a duel and had to go home (and Tori went into her 1 and only kicking/screaming like usual).
