I like taylor swift she seems like a genuinely sweet girl. But I must admit that although what he did was completely uncalled for and deplorable he was correct, he just should have went about it in a different manner. Let's keep it real the mtv awards just like the grammy's seem to favor either white artist or artist who are considered safe and clean in the eyes of white america. It reminds me of when will smith won a grammy for that wack ass song get jiggy with it when jay-z clearly should have won that...... more

To reply to your comment Kimmy as a unit I personally believe that we share certian cultural similarities, not to put anyone in a box but it is nice to see black people on t.v. who have not neccesarily grown up in lilly white environments who are still soulful yet educated and articulate. I'm sorry but watching the last couple of RW's and having Devyn and Jasmine basically as the sole black representatives is a little disappointing. Example Barak Obama the president is Harvard educated, polite, well spok...... more
