You know it's funny how high school looks once you're not there any more. Honestly I think the show was edited a little biased. Like most programs they only put the truly dramatic things in to get more ratings. But in all, I think that Amanda maybe quirky but she is who she is. I am glad that she wasn't influenced by her peers to be who they want her to be. Alex on the other hand is going to get a rude awakening when he gets to college because whining about what you're not getting is not going to get you anywhere. You have to work for it. And he needs to cut that two-faced crap out. It only gets you in trouble. On behalf of all the college publications, we all are not like that. Go Newsies!

Alex is strongly influenced by others and he'll never succeed in life unless he learns to speak his own mind and drift from the whole "back row cool gang" and be himself. Which lately he has shown to be a jerk.
Uniquness is a great thing and I highly disagree with this topic. Amanda was having fun.I mean, there's no way to please everyone ,right? That's why she stands out in the show.She doesn't care what other people think.
