Here is a question for Amber. Are you really sorry, your actions even on the final episode speaking to the dr. your actions were so fake. You should be in jail for abuse not only to the baby daddy but also to your baby, letting another man change her diaper, have you not heard about sexual abuse, I agree with the baby's daddy, no one should be changing her diaper especially a person who is out on work release and you met him in the walmart parking lot (great decison making, makes you look so much smarter than your baby's daddy, since you call him studid all the time and really you are the stupid one). Instead of getting boxing lessons you should of be paying for parenting lessons.

The fact that this showed Amber hitting her boyfriend and no police being called is sending the wrong message to our teens. This is not how you act. Be responsible for your actions, being young and pregnant then having a baby to care for does not give you the right to hit another person.. Where was the police. Then you show another teenager hitting her boyfriend on the next set of pregnant teens. This is not good televison for anyone at any age.

The teens that see this show need to remember not to act like Farrah. Her parents should not be so forgiving, her attitude and the way she acts is very disappointing. She acts live everyone owes her something, well gues what no one owes you anything, regardless of what happened to your baby's daddy which is sad, but I would hate to have to see how she would have treated him. She acts ugly toward everyone and she thinks this is fine. I am glad her mother and father were so forgiving and I think it was because of the baby. By the way, how come no one mentions how she was not paying attention her baby and she fell off the bed and sat her in the sink and turned on the water, she could have been burned. All she thinks about is how she looks and what she has or doesn't have. You have a baby think about her and grow up. Oh no, Farrah is crying again.

If they are not legally married, Farrah doesn't need to let her bf knows about the baby unless she wants the child support or establishing the paternity. My friend fathered a child and hadn't known for years until he got served with the court order to get the paternity test because the mother wanted child supports. I feel bad for little Sophia. I hope she will be able to know more about her dad though he's not there for her anymore. :)

This isn't a rude comment but instead a FACT OF REALITY. Grow up Farrah and take care of your responsibilities in raising you daughter!!! When you made that decision to lay on your back and have sex you committed yourself to the responsibilities of the conseqences of what may happen when you didn't use protection. Just have to comment on EVERYONES comments: 1. IF the father wanted to be a part of the childs life, YES he would have a right to, and he would have the right to ask the mother and child be tested to determine paternity. 2. He could have made a sworn affadavit as well to the courts stating he is the biological father. 3. He is automatically given shared custody UNLESS there were some mitagating reasons why it is NOT in the best interest of the child to have the parents share legal decisions. Would the baby have lived with him? if he wanted her to, yes, the courts would so order it.

So all you wanna be lawyers, please, read up on Iowa law.

NOW as far as Farrah goes? just watching her makes me ill and want to come save that baby. She places her wants/needs before the child, and she's damn lucky her mother has done anything to help her. She is the one to have gotten pregnant, and with her claim of 'being an adult' she needs to shut up and step up. I had a child in highschool, and it was MY responsibility to raise my son. I was grateful for my parents support and assistance but I was NOT going to throw my son at them to raise so I could continue to 'be a kid' - I gave that life up when I had sex and had to accept the ramifications of what could AND did happen.

Okay I just want to clear some things up about the father of Sophia. His name was Derek and he was a great person. Farrah and his relationship problems were no different then any other couple. The moment he found out she was pregnant he called and she said it wasn't true. She told him that people were lying and there were no cameras following her around. He made several attempts to make contact with her to discuss the baby and she denied him. Sadly on December 28th Derek and his friend were killed in a car accident. The accident was not alcohol related and was just a tragic accident. Derek would have and wanted to be a great father. Farrah had every intention of denying him any right to see Sophia. Let me just say that the Farrah on MTV and the Farrah in Council Bluffs Iowa are two very different people. I hope for only good things for Sophia's future and can't wait til the day when Derek's family rescues her from them.

Thank you, Jacksmommy. I've googled his name and found a few articles. This is really sad and I'm sure it was not mentioned on the reunion out of respect for the family. Its probably not something they want to advertise since Derek's mother is being charged for giving alcohol to the minors. Although it would have been nice if MTV had posted something on their blog to clear things up since there are so many rumors going around.

Hi, Yes it is true. To answer your question his name is DEREK UNDERWOOD. Yes, his obitoary was in the newspaper Council bluffs, IA. I'm also from Iowa as well. I have Farrah on facebook. she has pixs up of her and him. Him and a friend were driving and drinking. and both were killed at the scence.

About the father being deceased (meaning dead): An MTV message board poster claimed they were from Iowa and wrote that the father had recently died in a car accident before the show aired. The poster said his name was Derek (not sure on the spelling) and supposedly they even posted a newspaper article about his death from Council Bluff, Iowa. I haven't seen the article and having trouble finding the original post, but it was not on the show and it was not mentioned in the reunion.

I've heard the rumors that the babys father is deceased,and i think she never said that on air and maybe she dosen't know who the father is and this is why these rumors started or why she never told the guy who asked her if it was true when he heard she was pregnant.

One more thing, how in the heck did anyone find out that the father is deceased?? Was it in the show and I missed it?

carleepanda: Even if Farrah had wanted to put the father's name on the birth certificate she may not have been able to. In most states, including California, the father's name isn't put on the birth certificate unless he is present at the time it is filled out. He has to sign a declaration of paternity. The only way to have the father's name put on the birth certificate if he is not present is if the mother and father are married at the time. This is actually a fairly new law.

As for custody issues, they get really complicated when your a minor. I know from personal experience.
